On June 15th, CUAS International Business Management (IBM) students of the second and fourth semester had the unique opportunity to visit the Fifteen Seconds Festival in Graz. The festival brought together curious minds, open-minded students and professionals, representatives from innovative companies from Europe, and inspiring key note speakers.

After arriving to Graz comfortably by coach, the students jointly entered the festival premises. During the day, they were free to explore what the festival had to offer: keynotes by international speakers on various stages, such as the “personal growth stage”, “marketing stage”, “sports stage”, “tech-stage”, or “new work stage”. Moreover, the festival’s spacious exposition area was filled with fascinating companies from Austria and abroad. In between, visitors could enjoy the broad culinary offer, which was 100% plant-based in the spirit of sustainability. The excursion was a wonderful opportunity for IBM students to network among each other, with other festival participants, and with international companies.

After a day full of multi-faceted impressions, students let the evening end with a joint dinner at a local restaurant in Graz and then travelled back to Carinthia. The students were joined by IBM Program Director Prof. Dietmar Sternad, Martin Gruber, part-time lecturer and Vice President for Corporate Strategy at NXP Semiconductors, and junior researcher Verena Fink.
