By the end of this course the students should:
understand the importance of talent management and leadership development systems in globally operating firms
understand the competences that leaders and high potentials need when they work in an international or global environment
assess the characteristics of different career paths in multinational companies
evaluate and design talent management and leadership development strategies
apply talent management tools in practice

This course focuses on the role, strategies and approaches to developing talent and leaders in multinational companies. Specific topic covered in the course include:

Competences management in an international context
International career paths
Human resource development strategies in multinational companies
Approaches und tools for identifying and assessing high potentials in multinational companies
Tools for developing high potentials
Succession planning
Specifics of leadership in a global context
Leadership development in multinational companies
