Project Management was, without a doubt, the most important course during my studies at CUAS; and I don’t say this lightly.
Even though many courses include a group project or practical part, none of them are at the scale of Project Management, nor do they have the same kind of impact. Being able to work on a long-term project with an actual company provided me with invaluable insights into real life situations, issues that may arise, and taught me how to better navigate the solutions.
Moreover, not only have I benefited from this experience in terms of personal growth, but also in terms of career opportunities. The skills I have gained during the Project Management course have greatly helped me in securing an internship at an international consulting company, where I was later able to utilize the skills I acquired. Over the course of my internship, I gained a first-hand understanding of just how vital Project Management expertise is, so vital, in fact, that hardly any aspect of business would be able to operate without it.
All in all, Project Management should not be overlooked as just another group work – it is essential preparation for any future business professional.
