As part of the course Intercultural Aspects on Artificial Intelligence students from the School of Management of Carinthia University of Applied Sciences collaborated with students from Germany, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India and the United States on various current issues related to Artificial Intelligence, including the influence of AI on climate change, AI in ongoing conflicts, AI and digital rights, AI and data privacy, AI and cross language communication, AI in finance and AI in digital media arts.
During the conference “Intercultural Perspectives on Information Literacy and Metaliteracy 2024” the students will present their final results, followed by a discussion with the international team of instructors and the audience. The conference will be opened with a keynote by Prof. Pavel Stefanovič from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University about "AI learning without programming".

About the course:
In our course Intercultural Aspects on Artificial Intelligence students get to know current issues and opportunities around AI such as the Influence of AI on climate change or AI and digital rights. The innovative course design includes elements of open pedagogy, metaliteracy and Collaborative Online International Learning. Our discourse-oriented learning environment engages students from diverse cultural backgrounds to participate in collaborative knowledge construction. We invite participation from educators and learners from around the world and have witnessed an increase in participating countries.
