In the context of FH/CUAS strategy, which includes digitalization, internationalization, and the implementation of innovative teaching methods, Dr. Karin Martin's Journey as an ICM Satellite and the co-teaching pilot project with Dr. Colin Heller, unfolds as a remarkable testament to CUAS's commitment to these core principles.

Since October 2023, Dr. Karin Martin, a devoted CUAS member since 2016, embarked on a dynamic work and travel journey around the world, assuming the role of ICM satellite and part-time Senior Lecturer for Italian Language and Culture. Additionally, she initiated an online co-teaching project with Dr. Colin Heller, focusing on Multilingualism in Business and Language Management.

During her recent visit to Mexico City, Dr. Karin Martin had the privilege of meeting with the Dante Alighieri Society (Sociedad Dante Alighieri Ciudad De Mexico) to reinforce the significance of teaching Italian Language and Culture to our future ICM graduates. Dott.ssa Maria Quirino, Academic Director, and Dott. Stefano Cara, General Director of the Committee, as well as Dott.ssa Silvia Morasso, the Didactic Coordinator, emphasized the growing interest in learning Italian within the Mexican community in recent years. This enthusiasm bears witness to the effectiveness of Dante Society's motto, "Italsimpatia", in spreading a genuine passion for Italian language and culture.

This same passion, mirrored by our Intercultural Management students from the outset, has paved the way for a collaboration with the International School Carinthia in Velden, initiated in 2022. This collaboration has enabled CUAS to offer PLIDA official exams to CUAS students and external candidates alike, thanks to the support of Dott.ssa Veronica Bigi, ISC teacher, and Dott.ssa Stefania Squadrito, CUAS lecturer.

This partnership exemplifies CUAS's unwavering commitment to fostering successful connections and promoting linguistic diversity. Dr. Martin's dedication ensures her knowledge reaches our international students at Campus Villach through online education, aligning with CUAS's mission of offering quality education to a diverse, global student body, promoting digitalization and internationalization.
