Your Toolkit for Better Understanding and Fewer Misunderstandings

Do you work with international students? In intercultural teams, different perspectives and working styles come together. That can be inspiring, but also challenging. In this interactive workshop, you will gain practical input and tools to help you better understand cultural differences, avoid misunderstandings, and build effective collaboration. Together, we’ll explore how to reflect on our own cultural background and what makes intercultural dialogue truly successful.

Workshop topics include:

  • How do we – and others – really think? Understanding cultural perspectives
  • What makes intercultural communication work? – Insights from research and experience
  • Which strategies support effective collaboration in intercultural teams? – Tips from experienced professionals

Language: English & German
Target group: All students working with international peers (e.g., in group work, projects, or tutoring)
Duration: 3 LE, number of participants: 8-15, face to face on your campus
