  • The BeSENSHome project (10/2023-01/2026) is concerned with the development and implementation of an intelligent environment for neurodiverse people (e.g. autism, ADHD).
This environment is supposed to use environmental sensors to increase well-being, safety and independence. The system should be usable in private and assisted living areas as well as in the workplace.

In order to achieve these goals, the project involves future users and other stakeholders in the development process. This ensures that the system is user-friendly as well as useful. It also enables accurate adaptation to users and discrete integration into existing living or working environments.

Through the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) linked to the sensor network, the BeSENSHome system will be able to learn the routines and requirements of users. In this way, unfavorable environmental conditions can be detected and
adjusted to prevent potentially unpleasant or dangerous situations.
