Mr. Škrabec is the founder and director of Riko Group (www.riko.si), which includes an internationally renowned engineering company as well as Riko Hiše, a company that constructs pre-fabricated wooden organic houses (also in collaboration with well-known international designers like Philippe Starck). Mr. Škrabec also holds many high-profile functions (e.g. Honorary Consul of Morocco and Belarus, President of the Supervisory Board of the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, or President of the Slovene-Russian Business Council) and has received several awards and recognitions (e.g. the »Order of Friendship« of the Russian President). He is also highly recognized for his contributions to society and a more sustainable form of doing business.

In a highly interactive guest lecture (which was organized by Katarina Gutownig-Fürst, Lecturer for Slovene Language at CUAS), Mr. Škrabec answered all the student questions with topics ranging from doing business in an international context to decision-making, leadership, and self-management. He did not only provide deep insights into the factors that contribute to the success in international entrepreneurship, but also inspired the students with advice that was regarded as being very helpful for personal development also in life beyond business.
