DEVeloping Outstanding Sustainable Entrepreneurship Competencies is an Erasmus+ funded Blended Intensive Program project, designed and delivered by Eithne Knappitsch (lecturer CUAS) and Anna Zinenko (part-time lecturer CUAS for FACHHOCHSCHULE KÄRNTEN as a hosting institution along with partners StartupCarinthia and Makerspace Carinthia.

Some 50 students from FACHHOCHSCHULE KÄRNTEN and across the Alps-Adriatic region and Barcelona enjoyed the fantastic opportunity of working together -across languages and cultures - at Makerspace Carinthia. Nine teams developed business ideas embedded in sustainability and the SDGs.   This cross-border Alps-Adriatic project, is contributing to a Global, Conscious and Sustainable Community (#GCSC) of entrepreneurial thinkers and leaders and has been supported so far by trainers from the FACHHOCHSCHULE KÄRNTEN, Turismo y Dirección Hotelera UAB, Global Case Study Challenge, Slovene and Kärntner startup scene, including Iris E., Daniela Planinschetz-Riepl, Dr. Johann Schabauer, Gerald Mueller, Philippa Hell-Höflinger and Gloria Bottaro.

The final business ideas and pitches were presented on Tuesday, December 6 at Makerspace Carinthia.   A huge thank you to partners StartupCarinthia, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Turismo y Dirección Hotelera UAB, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Public Administration / Univerza v Ljubljani Fakulteta za upravo,  Università degli Studi di Udine, SIETAR Austria, Global Case Study Challenge and Makerspace Carinthia.
