Campus Days Logo Contest: Creative Talent on Display at FH Kärnten
As part of the Graphic Design module in the international Bachelor’s program Digital Marketing & Sales, students at FH Kärnten spent the semester exploring creativity from fresh, hands‑on perspectives. Classrooms turned into photo studios, smartphones into professional tools, and everyday objects into visual storytelling elements. The result was a vibrant collection of product shots, portraits, digital artwork, and brand concepts that highlight the students’ growing design skills.
To make sure these impressive creations do not remain hidden in folders and archives, Džana Pršić, a first‑year Digital Marketing & Sales student, initiated a special project that brings student talent into the spotlight. During this year’s Campus Days, she curated an interactive exhibition showcasing the best portrait photographs, product images, and student‑designed company logos. Visitors were invited not only to explore the exhibition but also to vote for their favourite logo design.
After an enthusiastic response and many votes, the results are in:
Logo Contest Winners
1st Place: Ajla Pivac (Austria)
The winning logo features a continuous line‑art illustration forming a stylized human face framed by a circular outline. The use of minimalistic black linework contrasts with bold red lips, creating a modern and elegant aesthetic. The design communicates precision, artistry, and individuality, values strongly associated with both tattoo and makeup craftsmanship. It is visually balanced, expressive, and instantly memorable.
2nd Place: Simon Varga (Hungary)
This logo uses striking geometric mountain shapes combined with two gold stars that add a sense of achievement and aspiration. The bold, angular typography mirrors the ruggedness of climbing and bouldering, while the black-and-yellow color scheme creates a strong, sporty visual impact. The overall design successfully communicates adventure, challenge, and outdoor passion.
3rd Place: Yoana Pastarmadzhieva (Bulgaria)
This monochrome‑and‑red design combines bold typography with an abstract graphic silhouette integrated into the center of the wordmark. The stylized shape resembles the profile of an animal, suggesting strength, alertness, and speed, while the rectangular gradient frame gives the logo a clean, contemporary structure. The contrasting red and black colors reinforce a dynamic, energetic brand identity.
Congratulations to all winners and participants! Their work reflects remarkable creativity, technical skill, and a strong understanding of visual branding.
The Campus Days Logo Contest demonstrates the exceptional creative potential within the Digital Marketing & Sales program, where students don’t just learn marketing theory but actively design, produce, and present visual concepts with real-world relevance.
