Hier studierst Du, wo andere Urlaub machen – eingebettet in die traumhafte Natur des Alpe-Adria-Raumes, der Dir unzählige Freizeitmöglichkeiten bietet. Außerdem bist Du in 30 Minuten in Italien und Slowenien. Das Mittelmeer mit seinen zahlreichen Destinationen erreichst Du in 2 Stunden.

Ab 1. November kann man sich für ein Studium in der „TECHNIK“ für einen Start im Wintersemester 2026/27 bewerben. Die erste Bewerbungsfrist endet am 15. März 2026. 

Please submit your application documents for a Bachelor's degree program ideally ONLINE and include your 4th and 5th grade diplomas. After checking your documents, we will contact you if individual courses or semesters can be credited. You will then receive the necessary information about the Moodle preparation courses, which will be offered free of charge from June, and tutorials with the respective lecturers.

Study Titles from Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences are now recognized in South Tyrol

It is a breakthrough in the recognition of study titles and will make the careers of many Carinthia University of Applied Sciences students from South Tyrol easier in the future:

For the first time, it is now possible for Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences to be recognized in Italy. Specifically, this concerns the fields of economics, social work and engineering

Entry for HTL graduates in the 2nd or 3rd semester

HTL graduates can shorten their Bachelor's degree course in “TECHNOLOGY” by up to two semesters if they meet the admission requirements and pass selected entrance examinations before starting their studies.

After successfully completing the Matura and after a positive admission procedure at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, entry into the 3rd semester is possible.

Admission requirements are a grade point average of 2 or better in the last two annual reports (4th and 5th grade) and a letter of recommendation from the respective HTL.

The OPEN HOUSE will take place on

  • Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on
  • Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

at all Carinthia University of Applied Sciences campuses.

TECH Scholarship for Master's Students from Europe, South America & Mexico

The Carinthia University of Applied Sciences is offering a new TECH Scholarship for Master Students from Europe, South America & Mexico.

In order to inspire new and talented students from Europe, South America & Mexico to pursue a master's degree in Austria, the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) | FH Kärnten (in collaboration with companies and associations) is offering four scholarships of 8,400 euros each.  

The deadline for the application for the scholarship is: 15th May 2026
