To help you plan your studies effectively, here is an overview of the most important dates for the 2026/27 academic year.

Semester Dates

Winter Semester 2026/27

• Start of semester: October 1, 2026
• End of semester: February 28, 2027

Summer Semester 2027

• Start of semester: March 1, 2027
• End of semester: September 30, 2027

Please note: The exact start dates of your courses may vary depending on your program.

Enrollment Deadlines

Winter Semester 2026/27

• Early registration for applicants: July 1 through August 31, 2026
• Registration deadline: September 1 through 30, 2026

Summer semester 2027

• Registration deadline: February 1 through 28, 2027

Tuition and ÖH fees

Payment deadline

• Winter semester: by September 15, 2026
• Summer semester: by February 15, 2027

Extended deadline

• Winter semester: by October 31, 2026
• Summer semester: by March 31, 2027

If payment is made after the extended deadline, the tuition fee increases by 10%. Enrollment becomes effective only after payment is received.

Application Deadlines for the 2027/28 Academic Year

• Application Period 1: November 1, 2026, to March 15, 2027
• Application Period 2: March 16 to May 31, 2027
• Application Period 3: June 1 to July 31, 2027
• Application period 4: August 1 to September 30, 2027 (for remaining available spots)
