The Austria Cyber Security Challenge(ACSC) is all about "discovering" talented young people at an early stage and "challenging" and "promoting" them according to their skills and knowledge - in other words, analogous to our successes in skiing - finding the best at a very early stage and bringing them up to the top in a targeted manner. Over 600 talents took on the challenging tasks at the ACSC in 2020. In view of the pandemic-related restrictions, this is a remarkable number. This year, the junior competition will again be expanded to include the open class - Austrian National Championship. This means that also this year we offer people who are already in professional life or older than 25 years the chance - in an open class - to participate in the competition of the best in Austria. 159 participants from all over Austria took this chance last year.

For this year we expect more than 200 security specialists in this class - and the FH Kärnten will be there as a sponsor!

START of the Challenge

The ACSC (Austria Cybersecurity Challenge) 2021 starts on May 3rd 2021 with the obligatory qualification! This runs until the end of September - so enough time even for beginners and interested people with a tight time budget.

Final

The final will be held in Linz at the end of November this year - COVID 19 permitting.
