The major reason to study International Business Management at CUAS was my personal desire to distinguish myself from graduates of other “regular” business master studies.

At an early age I realized the necessity to communicate in a global context, to be culturally aware and to speak English fluently. After my high school graduation I decided to work as an au pair in Australia. Ever since my first experience abroad, the “international bug” had infected me. Following two more internships in Asia, I felt the need to acquire all the abilities which are needed in a world characterized by an ever increasing degree of globalisation. With the International Business Management master program at CUAS I found the answer: entirely taught in English, experienced and well-reputed professors, a wide variety of lectures in different business fields and a campus embedded in between one of Austrian’s most beautiful places, the “Austria-Slovenia-Italy triangle”.

Apart from the study-context-related point of view, I benefited a lot from the interaction with students from all over the world. Internationality at CUAS is not only taught, it is literally lived on a day-per-day basis – not only by us students but especially by the professors.

The high practice-orientation provides the study program with another USP. Excursions to companies in nearby countries such as Italy, Slovenia or Croatia, regular guest lectures and case studies are a fixed component of the curriculum.

I will soon be working in the commercial section of the Austrian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia as the assistant to the Commercial Counsellor. I am convinced that this great job opportunity would not have opened up itself to me without the completion of the International Business Management master program in Villach. I am furthermore sure that my master studies perfectly prepared me for the requirements of my future job.

I can highly recommend the International Business Management master program at CUAS to everyone who aspires an international career and is aware of the ever increasing importance that globalization plays in a business context.
