Students
know relevant theoretically based concepts of the social environment and methods of socio-spatial orientation/-analysis:
can analyse the processes of spatial constitution/construction from a reflexive socio-spatial perspective;
can deal with socio-political measures/interventions in a critical-constructive way with regard to territorial spatial development, city/neighbourhood planning, community work, residence activation and quarter management.

In the course, relevant theoretically based concepts of the social environment and methods of socio-spatial orientation/-analysis are imparted and discussed. From a reflexive socio-spatial perspective, processes of spatial constitution/construction as well as the power relations interest conflicts therein are analysed. In this context, a critical-constructive examination with socio-political measures/interventions with regard to territorial spatial development, city/neighbourhood planning, community work, residence activation and quarter management, etc. follows.
