After successful completion of the course, students:

  • Name and understand the most important institutions and legal forms of the European Union
  • Understand the content and significance of the fundamental freedoms
  • Explain the basic rules of competition law

In the course "European law" the following topics/contents are covered:

  • History and organization of the EU
  • EU institutions
  • EU sources
  • Forms of EU law
  • Fundamental freedoms:
    • Movements of goods
    • Movement of persons
    • Services and capital
  • Competition law
  • Integration of economics and law
