Students shall acquire a holistic approach to midwifery practice and care. In this course they shall learn about basics in various complementary methods which are used in the obstetric setting. Complementary methods like homeopathy, phytotherapy and aromatherapy are covered in class. Students will be prepared with information where and how to continue training after school.

Students shall learn practical administrations of complementary and alternative methods (CAM) like usage ofTraditional Chinese medicine including acupressure and acupuncture, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, cell salts, hydrotherapy, craniosacral therapy, hypnosis, breathing tecniques, taping, etc. This class is ment to be an introduction is the various offers on this market and will pepare students with information where to get extensive advanced education and training.
