The students are familiar with the fundamentals of computer aided modelling (CAD 3D) for building constructions and also with advanced CAD skills. Course graduates are able to create three-dimensional parametric models using a special CAD system eligible in Architecture and Engineering. Additionally they have the ability to generate views and perspectives, which can be arranged in plans, photo-realistic visualized or animated into movies.

Introducing the basics of digital (three-dimensional 3D) modelling using a CAD system adequate for building constructions:

Create and edit 3D elements, such as primitives, solids and so on

Use of advanced modelling tools

Generate and organize sophisticated models

Develop parametric models

Visualize, animate and generate plan layout

Import and export of geometrical and non-geometrical data

Combine geometrical and non-geometrical model data within CAD
