On successful completion of the course, students:

• Understand the basics of the Internet (history, technical structure, protocols, domains, etc.) and search engine or retrieval technology
• Are able to develop their own blog/website based on the CMS system Wordpress
• Design their own website prototype
• Can use digital media with software tools or cloud apps, understand the various aspects of media and media content, and communicate themselves in a variety of contexts
