The students are able to develop an understanding of the role of people in work systems and are motivated to consciously design human centered work systems. They know the most relevant components of human performance for the design of work systems and products. They have the ability for ergonomic evaluation of work situations and human-oriented design of work equipment, workplaces and work processes in their basics.
