Semester of degree program Semester 2
Mode of delivery Presence- and Telecourse
ECTS credits7,5
Language of instruction German

Students are familiar with the basics of AC technology and network analysis in case of sinusoidal excitation. They are able to determine power ratios and the behavior of circuits with inductive coupling. They know about the behavior of circuits in case of non-sinusoidal excitations and can apply frequency transformations. They can determine frequency responses and design and create circuits for power supply.

Simple switching operations on RC and RL circuits
Network analysis under sinusoidal excitation
Impedances and rms values
Multiphase systems
Frequency response analysis and filters
Power and power conversion in AC circuits
Frequency transformations: Fourier analysis and transform, Laplace transform
Simulation of circuits with Multisim
