The students

  • are familiar with all aspects of employment law that are relevant from an HR perspective within the framework of the employee life cycle. Are taught all those labor law contents that come into consideration in the course of an employment relationship - from recruitment to termination of the employment relationship
  • are sensitized to labor law issues in the context of HR work in order to recognize stumbling blocks and dangers with regard to the legal consequences of actions or omissions
  • recognize the connections between operational HR measures and the labor law effects of the respective measures within the framework of HR work

Within the scope of the course, the following labor law topics will be covered to the extent of the available ECTS Credits:

  • Relevant norms and delimitation of employees
  • Labor law and recruitment
  • Employment law aspects of working hours and remuneration
  • Release and termination of employment
The students are taught the basics of employment law concerning all legal aspects of the employee life cycle that are relevant from the perspective of an employee in the field of human resources. This includes:
  • Legal aspects in the context of the job advertisement through job interviews,
  • From recruitment (contract) to the Working Time Act as well as minimum wage and the types of termination of employment relationships at the end of the employee life cycle
