Students master the physical-technical basics as prerequisites for carrying out biomedical analysis procedures and gain an overview of the technical functional sequence in the analysis process. They gain an overview of relevant analysis methods and procedures in biomedical analysis and their measurement principles.

Instrumental analysis and laboratory introduction

  • Physico-technical basics of relevant measuring techniques / biomedical analysis, measuring principles (e.g. spectroscopic methods, electrochemical methods, physicochemical separation methods, flow cytometry, osmometry, optical measurements)
  • Special techniques in microscopy
  • Innovations in instrumental analytics
