The course serves to develop the students' ability to give presentations in English technical language. The technical background for this is provided by the topics covered in the courses of the Marketing module (Fundamentals of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations).
The students
- know the English technical vocabulary and can use it in the context of presentations,
- can moderate and answer question rounds in the context of press conferences in English.
The course "English: Presenting with Impact" covers the following topics/contents:
- Presenting with impact: The sales pitch: Language (structure/conclusion).
- Individual video product sales presentation
- Dealing with difficult questions (English vocabulary)
- Preparing and conducting a press conference in English
A collection of articles and videos will be compiled each semester for the course, drawing on recent articles from the following media:
