The students will understand the fundamentals of underlying physical, chemical and engineering processes and considerations that have to be taken into account when designing measurement systems for (industrial) process control

Process Analytical Technologies include design, analysis and control of manufacturing processes, involving the measurement of Critical Process Parameters (CPP) that affect Critical Quality Attributes (CQA).
The lecture will cover the different fundamental technologies of chemical analysis and their application in industrial process control.
