Students know the considerable legal framework of healthcare. They understand the relationship between federal law and national law and have knowledge of the treatment contract and are able to classify the activities of various health professionals within the context of the professional title. Furthermore, they have elementary knowledge with regards to medical device legislation, as well as pharmaceutical law and sanitary law.

Die Lehrveranstaltung setzt sich mit drei Bereichen des Gesundheitsrechts auseinander: 1.) Grundlagen um den Behandlungsvertrag einschließlich der Berufsvorbehalte für diverse Gesundheitsberufe. 2) Rahmenbedingungen für das Inverkehrbringen diverser Güter im Gesundheitsbereich (Medizinprodukterecht, Arzneimittelrecht) sowie 3) Sanitätsrechtliche Bestimmungen. Darüber hinaus werden spezielle berufsrelevante Fragen des Gesundheitsrechts unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Europarechts behandelt.
