Students will be able to understand the relationships of different Fourier related transformations and to apply the appropriate transformation depending on signal or system characteristics. Hence, students are able to analyse signals and systems in frequency domain and are able to investigate system properties in z- and s-domain.
Students will be able to solve related probems using MATLAB

Fourier related Transformations (Fourier series, Fourier Transformation, discrete Fourier transfom, Fourier transform for sequences, Laplace trasformation, z-transformation (properties, transform pairs, applications) and their relationships to each other.
FFT (FFT algorithm, properties, applications of FFT)
