The students are able to
• model functional prototypes based on the problem of first prototypes
• use combinations of analog and rapid prototyping methods in design models

The presentation content is based on the parallel project in "Design and Creation" and is coordinated with the respective lecturer.
• Using CAD / Plot Drawings to create prototypes
• Analog modeling of functional prototypes
• Analog modeling of design models
• Analog modeling of freeform surfaces (clay modeling, yellow foam modeling)
• Chipping techniques, finishing techniques (filing, drilling)
• Metalworking, welding, drilling, sawing, edging
• laser cutting
• 3D Printing (Introduction to FDM Printer, Introduction to SLA Printing)
