Students can successfully apply fundamental presentation skills, comprising non-verbal and structural linguistic presentational aspects as well as handle the profession specific use of media. They possess feedback competence and can analyse and assess their individual degree of presentation skill.

Contents range from the preparation phase to the actual presentation and comprise the fundamentals of the presentation techniques, such as the basic communication model, impact factors, goal setting and target audience analysis, structuring a presentation (in classic and advanced ways), linguistic features of the presentation language, specific training of the elocution and the body language and finally the generation and handling of the subject-preferred media: IB_specific focus on power point - standards included, Arch_specific focus on working models, final models and plans.

Lecture units about the fundamentals of communication in general and the presentation techniques in particular. Group discussions, team work, oral and written evaluation of video-taped single and group presentations and activities. Units of specific training. Individual mentoring during the prep process for the final presentation according to the subject-related requirements. Seminar, max. Fifteen students.

Continual assessment of oral participation, the presentations and training activities in class, exam, final presentation. Max. group size 15.
