Students:

• Understand their language strengths and weaknesses and have set specific learning goals to improve their language skills
• Identify the core features of a blog post (structure and style)
• Evaluate the quality of a blog post
• Create a blog post in English that demonstrates the core structure & style features of a blog, and persuade their opinion using personal experience and facts

• tested their knowledge and understanding of English language and grammar, reflected on the strengths and weaknesses of their study and language skills, and set specific individual learning goals based on their performance.
• Students will be able to write a paragraph justifying a particular point of view, including direct and indirect quotations.
• They can formulate blog posts based on their personal experiences (of student life) and research, using appropriate style and register, expressing their opinions, and presenting evidence to support different points of view.
• Students will be able to identify key ideas from foundational texts related to their studies and analyze the appropriate language and structure

• Content, structure, and linguistic features of the text type blog, with special attention to the difference between formal and informal language
• Constructive peer feedback and strategies for self-directed learning
