Three scholarships for CUAS students available to attend a summer school in Opava this August

The GEDIS European Summer School on Information Science (ESSISGEN 2026) is an intensive one-week academic program connecting current issues of information technology with aspects of gender and diversity. The program is especially designed for Bachelor students.

The summer school will take place August 23th to August 28th, 2026, Opava, Czech Republic.

After completing the summer school, students will receive a certificate of participation. 

Financed by our current Erasmus+ project GEDIS – Gender Diversity in Information Science: Challenges in Higher Education (Project number: 2024-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000246558), we can offer three stipends to our students. Bachelor’s students will have priority for the stipend. It includes: 

  • Registration fee (the scientific program and the social program) 
  • Accommodation and board in Opava (6 nights – August 23 to August 28 included)   
  • Travel support (limited to a maximum of 300 €)
