Since then, I followed the IBM program closely, knowing that once I graduated and gained professional experience, particularly in a highly reputable company, I realized that my career ambitions required a more global and strategic perspective, one that aligns directly with this program. I never felt the need to search for alternative universities or programs because the curriculum, faculty expertise, and the accessibility of the management/professors aligned perfectly with what I expected from a truly international and modern master’s program.
Each module includes hands-on activities, interactive learning formats, business labs, excursions, and course content integrated with current global developments such as artificial intelligence. This creates a direct bridge between academic knowledge and real-world business scenarios, something I consider essential in today’s business landscape. The fact that the program allows students to work while studying is also a major advantage, as it enables continuous professional development alongside academic growth.
Now, in my fourth month at CUAS, I can proudly say that I couldn’t have made a better decision; everything is going even better than I imagined!
From the very first week, it became clear that every course is closely connected to real-life practice. We have interactive sessions, teamwork, excursions, discussions, and even topics fully aligned with today’s world, such as AI and the way it’s transforming global business. Group work, especially collaborating with classmates from diverse cultural backgrounds, is one of the best parts of the program. You learn when to lead, when to listen, when to challenge ideas, and when to laugh at how different we all think. These moments make you more confident, more open-minded, and definitely more “global”. Thus, the program not only equips me with strong managerial and analytical skills but also helps me strengthen my communication abilities and professional confidence, qualities that are vital for advancing in my career. In addition, listening to our professors' professional insights helps me develop a broader, more global perspective. It’s impossible not to grow here!
Let me also mention this: Villach is adorable. At first glance, it looks like a small, quiet town. But give it a few weeks, and suddenly every face becomes familiar. People are warm, everything is within reach, transportation is super convenient, and the atmosphere makes studying so much easier. Villach is the kind of place where you feel at home surprisingly fast.
If you dream of studying in a peaceful town, surrounded by supportive professors, international classmates, and a curriculum built for the challenges of the 21st century… then CUAS will feel just right for you. Joining the IBM program at CUAS has been one of the most impactful and rewarding decisions of my life. I’m genuinely happy to be here, and I can’t wait to see where this journey will take me next :))
