Studying Intercultural Management at CUAS has significantly shaped how I approach work in international environments. Before starting the program, I worked remotely for an international marketing agency where I often encountered cultural misunderstandings. At the time, I didn’t have the tools to fully grasp what was happening. Through the ICM program, I was able to connect theory with real experiences and gain clarity on how cultural factors influence communication, teamwork, and management practices.
Now, during my internship in product management at Infineon Technologies, these insights are proving to be extremely valuable. I’ve learned that differences in communication styles, time orientation, and feedback expectations are not personal, they are cultural. This understanding has improved my ability to collaborate across teams and manage expectations more effectively. The ICM program provided me with practical frameworks and skills that are directly applicable in a global business context. It’s helped me become more adaptable, aware, and prepared for the complexity of working across cultures.
