The industrial technology branch of the Bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering and management at CUAS, which has already been successful for years, will be supplemented by the computer science branch from autumn this year.
Successful digital transformation in companies requires more than just computer science. Knowledge of strategic and operational processes as well as their economic interrelationships are crucial for the sustainable success of this transformation. This is exactly where industrial engineers combine the technical disciplines with strategic and operational management. After the three-year bachelor's degree - available in full-time and part-time organisational form - career paths are open as a business data scientist, in the project management of complex digitalisation projects, in the planning and implementation of intelligent and networked production processes or as a digital transformation officer.
In the spirit of industrial engineering, graduates are the reliable interface between the management level and the experts from the various technical disciplines in the challenges of digital transformation.
