After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Apply the basics and techniques of scientific work,
  • Research literature in a targeted and efficient manner and to document, systematize and present the results accordingly,
  • Develop a research question,
  • Comprehend scientific texts, clarify, compare and prepare different points of view,
  • Distinguish between different forms of scientific publications, to classify them according to their type of literature and to understand and link their essential contents,
  • Critically examine sources (with a focus on the Internet),
  • Apply the rules of citation used in the School of Management or in the field of study Business & Management, and
  • Write a scientific paper independently

  • Research question, research goal, topic limitation
  • Types of literature, literature research (online and print version), paraphrasing
  • Bibliography, citations
  • Structure, structure of a scientific paper, table of contents (formulation of correct headings)
  • Support in preparing the research report
