• are able to use the basic syntax and selectors of CSS and apply the box model and responsive design in practice.
• are familiar with the basic syntax and structure of XML and can transform XML documents using XSLT.

• are able to implement basic server-side logic and thus create simple web applications with asynchronous data transfer between client and server.

In the field of web programming, most of the specialist literature is available on the web itself (e.g. w3schools). Web content relevant to the module will only be announced at the beginning of the module to ensure that it is up to date
