Our ACE2-EU alliance recently came together for an inspiring and productive intensive meeting in the beautiful city of Kaunas, Lithuania! Over 70 students, program directors, international offices and other staff members gathered to strengthen our partnership and collaboratively shape the future of student mobility.

A Week of Collaboration and Innovation

The week was powered by a shared goal: to enhance the international experience for our students as the main goal of the project WP6. Most of our time was spent in dynamic workshops with stakeholders or international managers focused on tackling the practical challenges of mobility. Together, we worked on creating clearer information guidelines, streamlined workflows, and effective solutions for academic recognition.

A major highlight was the exchange with representatives from other European alliances with Lithuanian partners. They generously shared their own challenges and best practices, providing invaluable insights into successful internationalization. These discussions underscored the power of collaboration within the wider European academic community.

United by Shared Values and Culture

Beyond the meeting rooms, participants were treated to a rich program of social events designed to offer a taste of Lithuanian culture and cuisine. These moments were essential for building the personal connections that form the heart of our alliance.

A focal point of the week was a deep reflection on our shared European Values. These conversations were not just theoretical; they aimed to define concrete actions to promote our common principles, ensuring we move forward with a united vision and a stronger, more integrated ACE2-EU community.

We left Kaunas feeling energized and inspired, with clear action plans and strengthened bonds. A huge thank you to our hosts and all participants for making this meeting a resounding success!
