Call for Submissions: Europe Prize of the Government of Carinthia

Have you recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral thesis on a topic related to Europe or the European Union? Submit your work for a chance to win up to €1,500 in the Europe Prize of the Government of Carinthia!

Who Can Apply?

  • Theses successfully defended between January 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025 at an Austrian higher education institution.
  • Applicants must hold EU citizenship and demonstrate a strong connection to Carinthia (e.g., residence, place of study, or high school degree in Carinthia).
  • Theses graded D or E are not eligible.
  • Open to all academic disciplines.

Required Application Materials:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Completed application form
  • Digital copy of the thesis
  • Executive summary (max. 5 pages)
  • Advisor’s evaluation letter
  • Official university evaluation of the thesis
  • Transcript of records
