After successful completion of the course, students:
- Know the interrelationships at the macroeconomic level
- Interpret key macroeconomic figures
- Explain and critically reflect on solution strategies for economic challenges
- Are familiar with ethical questions regarding different economic policy objectives in relation to macroeconomic growth
- Research economic data, analyze specialized texts and statistics

- Introduction to macroeconomics/macroeconomic data.
- Long-term economic development
- Long-term view of money and prices
- Short-term economic fluctuations
- Global trends
