Students are able to identify key areas and themes of a health system that require governmental or contractual regulation; they are able to negotiate these issues to develop the basic structures of a sustainable health system. Students are thereby able to identify the specific interests of various protagonists and lead to a common structural solution, to formulate laws and contract texts in a simple form, as well as integrate innovative ideas into a healthcare system. When adopting the role of protagonist in the role play by small groups, not only the specific perspective of the overall system is understood, but also negotiation skills are practiced and team skills developed.
