The project partnership developed an innovation network of „RIS3 Champions“ of Central Europe. It initiated a new generation of innovation networks, created a comprehensive „Digital Integration Toolkit“ to enhance cooperation between partners from relevant institutions, and developed joint strategies and action plans. The project helped relevant actors to better understand RIS3 needs and the role they played in their implementation. Moreover, it created a novel method of designing, managing, and introducing innovation in the framework of smart specialization strategies, applicable beyond participating regions.
