  • Our objective is to develop innovative sustainable tourism business model for cycling along the Iron Curtain Trail with maximising positive and minimising negative impact on the economy, environment and society.
Innovation capacities are highly relevant to achieve economic transition to green, digital, and just business sector. However, smaller SMEs and companies in rural areas are facing severe challenges to access and use even wide-spread digital solutions. Our aim is to address the value chain in tourism as the relevant economy sector and enable SMEs access to global knowledge with local impact. Sustainable cycling tourism product along the Iron Curtain Trail will be the Living lab for testing innovative solutions at digital, business, environmental and social level.
The sustainable tourism business model will focus on three aspects of sustainability, and the developed tools will be tested in the ICT Living Lab cross-border pilot actions along the Iron Curtain Trail.
