Investment Specialist, Illiquid Products, Nordea Asset Management, Luxembourg

After graduating from university, I decided to work for an international bank and challenge myself with acquiring professional skills. It was not long after that when I decided that it would be more valuable to continue my studies in the area of International Business. After several months, I started searching for programs that would be suitable for my long-term goals: be able to work in an international environment and manage to face any hidden obstacles in the international arena. After creating a long list of universities and graduate programs and using various criteria to reduce the options, I decided that International Business Management program at CUAS was the most appropriate choice to acquire the necessary skillset to achieve my future objectives.

When the journey started, I was amazed by the truly international environment. Classmates and professors from all over the world with different backgrounds and experiences were an added value to this unique experience and contributed to my personal and professional development.

The structure of the program — a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical implementation ― promotes creativity, teamwork, diversity and healthy competition. Additionally, the well-prepared and competent professors make the lectures interesting and comprehensible. Lastly, the stimulating and thought-provoking assignments, 24-hour challenges, modern business case studies and real projects with local and international companies added further value to the program.

The skillset and competencies acquired during my studies are now “put into practice” as I am currently working in an international team, which is composed of 21 colleagues, 17 diverse nationalities and 14 different languages.

Being part of the International Business Management family was a unique experience — a milestone for me which I would confidently recommend to anyone looking to enrich his or her theoretical and practical knowledge.
