“Final call for applications.” The Master´s programme Management of Conservation Areas will start in September.

MCA

“Take the chance to be part of this unique international study programme and learn more about planning and managing conservation areas worldwide”, says Monika Auinger of the UNESCO Chair team.

The educational offer adresses the “most beautiful and valuable landscapes on the globe,” such as national parks, biosphere reserves or world heritage sites. Last-minute applications from citizens of EU countries are still welcome, so for this iteration, it´s the “final call to MCA”, says Auinger.

In September 2021, the new round of the part-time Master's programme will start. The curriculum is specifically designed to enable participants to optimally combine the challenges of the job and training. Intensive in-person participation phases alternate with distance learning, and flexible online teaching units allow individual learning according to personal time management. "And the MCA team is always at the students’ disposal for support whenever possible," Monika adds.

The students will graduate in summer 2023. Following the promise of the training, "your careers for our future," many interesting occupations and career opportunities await the graduates. Direct contact with experts, with support from national and international institutions, enables participants to establish a strong network for future career perspectives. The fields of nature conservation, environmental protection, and development aid are just some of the specialties of our skilled lecturers.
