“IBM is international and it is fun. To me it means working, networking, learning, experiencing, and practicing. It is meeting people, getting new friends, having a family far away from home. It is support, eagerness, opportunity, emotions … It is really a boutique program with compact class sizes and very skilled professors. It is a place where close friendships start and from where first individual steps to a managerial career can be taken.

The courses are only half of the learning. I experienced IBM as learning from people with practice, talking with them after classes, meeting them on social events of CUAS. I experienced learning by working on projects or spending spare time with friends from Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Bangladesh, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Armenia, and many more. At that time I really didn’t see the whole picture, I just spent unforgettable time with my friends.

I am now working as an export manager in Bursa/Turkey reporting directly to the CEO. Communicating and negotiating with people from really every corner of the world on a daily basis makes me realize how much I actually gained from the program. Getting this position immediately after my graduation was challenging and scary from time to time, but funny thing: not even once I have had doubt in my skills or thought I couldn’t do it. I think that only comes from trust and confidence in the knowledge that I gained.

I can only thank to CUAS, the IBM team, and all other colleagues who in these two years made me the person I am and gave me an opportunity to develop myself on both a personal and a professional level!

I sincerely recommend IBM to everyone who has eagerness to work in an international area. It is a decision which I believe you will never regret!”
