On 28 September 2020, the second semester of the Coding School Wörthersee starts in cooperation with the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences in order to give regional talents the chance of a top international education and to attract national talents.

The second semester will go into the next round with two main focuses: a five-month training course is on the agenda, frontal teaching is history, hands-on and a real software product of one's own are the focus.

Both Android and iOS programming will be offered in order to cover the current app market optimally. Mentors will guide the trainees through the project and support them in creating and implementing their own projects.

Participants will get an insight into the UX/UI elements and will take part in workshops and lectures by industry experts between the individual programming sessions. In the "Coding School" there are no exams in the classical sense. Here, the aim is to convince with a programmed software and thus collect grades.

Attendance times
Monday to Thursday from 09:00 - 17:00
Friday from 09:00 - 13:00

Target group
The "Coding School" is aimed at 18 to 25 year olds who are passionate programmers* with an HTL background or interest in software development. First experiences in Java development and a passed Matura, AHS or BHS are an advantage.

Costs
The complete education is financed by the founders and partners and is free of charge for the students. Only the ÖH fee of € 20.20 is to be paid.

Application
Applications can be submitted until 28 September, the admission procedure consists of an interview. The number of participants* is limited to 8 persons.
