A very interesting and adventurous invited talk of Yvo Weidmann (ETH Zurich) takes place on Thursday, 12th January at Campus Villach.

His talk deals with Environmental Monitoring of Glacier dynamics in North-West Greenland and how Unmanned Aerial Systems based Data Acquisition and Analysis can make an innovative contribution to Climate Change Research:

Yvo Weidmann has been working in the field of GIS and Geomatics since 1998 and supports the ETH Zürich (Switzerland) as Geomtaics and Software Engineer at the Laboratory of Hydraulics, Hydrology and Glaciology.
