Study + Work Programs at CUAS

Study and job - is that possible? With already eight companies as "Study and Work" partners, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences is starting the new academic year 2019/20. This attractive offer gives students the opportunity to immediately put theoretical knowledge into practice and to gain professional experience in Carinthia's leading companies. The "Study and Work" program is already anchored in the FH bachelor degree programmes Civil Engineering, Business Management, Digital Business Management and Systems Engineering on a part-time basis.

The Study + Work Programme is for first-year students of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering and includes 

  • a scholarship in the amount of 700.00 Euro / academic year in the Bachelor's program (3 years)
  • Fixed internship commitment for the professional internship in the 5th semester (at home and abroad)
  • Paid professional internships during the summer holidays.

Prerequisite for admission to the Study + Work Program is

  • a positively completed admission procedure and the proper enrolment for the Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering,
  • the timely application (CV and letter of motivation) for the Study + Work Programme by 30.10.2020 to karrierefh-kaerntenat
  • the selection by a jury consisting of representatives of the cooperation partners

The Study + Work Programme for first-year students of the Bachelor's programme "Systems Engineering extra-occupational" includes

  • a fixed commitment for an internship for the duration of 3 years (or until the end of the bachelor's degree) and at least 20 hours of employment per week at Infineon

The prerequisite is

  • positively completed admission procedure and regular enrolment for the degree course "Systems Engineering" part-time
  • Timely submission of a letter of application as well as a CV for the Study + Work Programme by 30.10.2020 by mail to sefh-kaerntenat
  • selection by a jury at Infineon

The Study + Work Program for first-year students of the part-time Bachelor's programs "Systems Engineering", "Mechanical Engineering" and "Industrial Engineering and Management" includes a fixed commitment for a part-time position for a period of 3 years and at least 20 hours of employment per week at PMS Elektro- und Automationstechnik GmbH.

Precondition is

  • positively completed admission procedure and regular enrolment for the part-time degree course "Systems Engineering" or "Mechanical Engineering" or "Industrial Engineering and Management".
