Students have
knowledge and understanding of elemental concepts and facts of with regards to the respective applications in mechanics and electrical engineering.
They are able to analyze and solve tasks in the realm of physics.

• Mechanics (Kinetics Principles, Kinematics, Newtonian Axioms, Friction, Energy Conservation, Potential, Conservative Force, Power)
• Electrostatics and Electrodynamics (Electric Charge / Coulomb's Law / Electric Field, Potential / Current / Resistance / Insulator & Conductor / Electric Power / Magn. Field / Lorentz Force / Hall Effect / Ampere' Law / Induction and Lenz Rule)
• Vectorial description (kinetics, force, momentum, angular momentum, torque, Lorentz force, Hall effect)
• Path and surface integral in physics (conservative force, electric and magnetic flux, geometrical moment of inertia)
• Material properties (modulus of elasticity, properties of dielectrics and magnetic materials)
