The students get basics and special competences of scientific foundations working for the study and for the professional practise. They gain detailed knowledge of scientific reading and writing. They can absorb scientific texts differentiatedly and write seminar papers and final theses according to scientific criteria.

In the occupational training period the students get professional experience concerning institutional, structural and conceptional parameters in the fields of actions of DDS. The students can reflect on their own professional actions by relating to the background of theoretical models and expressing this theory-practice-correlation in written form as well as describing team and organisation processes.

In reference to the intensive settlement with scientific and empirical perspectives in the DDS, the profit of the study (disability- and diversity-sensitve perspective) concentrates in both final scientific written theses.

The students write up their bachelor thesis 2 in connection with a contentual corresponding lecture within DDS. Therefore they get support by the respective lecture management. The management accompanies and advises the students in their bachelor thesis 2. Time schedule, literature research and literature treatment as well as elaboration are done and largely accomplished independently.
